Jim has been a partner of Tontine Associates, LLC, a Greenwich, Conn.-based partnership, since February 2006. Before to joining Tontine, he was the chief financial officer of Centrue Financial Corp., Ottawa, Ill. and, before that, a senior manager at ChiRex, Inc., Stamford, Conn. He also has prior experience in private equity and investment banking.
